I feel as though I am sitting on the precipice of a new cliff and I'm about to take that huge leap of faith.
Having finished writing my very first novel I am somewhat elated and somewhat terrified. I have a firm sense of accomplishment in knowing that I have the disciple and self-control to sit down and complete an entire novel. However, I also have those nagging doubts that I'm sure plague all writers especially when they first begin their journey.
Is it any good?
What will people think?
Will anyone want to buy my book?
It is a very exciting time in my life, and one that by all outward appearances may seem horrible. Nevertheless, my friends, from where I'm sitting, I see beautiful scenery and an unknown world just waiting to be explored.
So, now I ask you, dear friends, who will make this journey with me? Take a chance, don't be left out, and grasp my hand tightly. We're taking that leap!
